Being a Guide in Newcastle is all about learning
new skills, making your own decisions and having
fun. And it’s up to each Guide to work out
which opportunities are right for her, whether
it’s improving her football skills, planning a fashion show, saving the environment or enjoying the great outdoors.
Any girl aged ten to fourteen can join Guides. When they join, Guides become part of a small group within the unit called a patrol and make their Guide promise.
